CSA’s

www.pinckneysproduce.com – This is the CSA we joined here in South Carolina.  They have many delivery drop sites that span a large area from Columbia to Charleston.

www.localharvest.org/csa – Are great site to learn more about CSA’s and find a local farm near you.

www.palmettovore.org – Can you be a palmettovore?  If you live in South Carolina you can.  Anyone can be a locavore, which is someone who eats foods produced within 100 miles of where they live, which may include products from other states.  Can you step up to the challenge?

www.celiac.org – – Several of my family members are affected by celiac disease. In order to keep the disease under control it is extremely important to understand what it is, and how important diet and lifestyle is to successfully living with celiac.

www.uga.edu/nchfp/index.html — The National Center for Home Food Preservation is your source for current research-based recommendations for most methods of home food preservation. The Center was established with funding from the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture (CSREES-USDA) to address food safety concerns for those who practice and teach home food preservation and processing methods.

www.familyrecipecentral.com — You can create your own family cookbook at Family Recipe Central, and the group feature to collaborate with family and friends on your cookbook project is very cool.

Interesting website. I am in the fitness industry and a gym owner, so I am always interested in new diets and recipes (as long as they are healthy and they fit the fit lifestyle we promote at Illuminate Gym). I look forward to looking into some of your recipes and please check out http://www.illuminategym.com again and again.
